- Popping corn · 120 g
- Vegetable oil · 30 ml
Ingredients
- Popping corn120 g
- Vegetable oil30 ml
Method
- Put the oil and three kernels into a large pot with a tight lid and set it over medium-high heat.
- When those three kernels pop the oil is hot enough — tip in the rest and put the lid back on.
- Shake the pot every few seconds so the popped corn lifts off the base and does not scorch.
- Take the pot off the heat when the pops slow to one every few seconds; waiting for the last kernel burns the batch.
- Season lightly while it is still hot, cool completely, and only then put it in a container — warm popcorn steams itself soft.
