Honey Animal Biscuits

Ingredients

• unsalted butter — softened100 g
• honey50 g
• vanilla extract — 1 tsp5 ml
• plain flour — plus a little extra for kneading250 g
• baking powder — ½ tsp2.3 g
• salt — a pinch0.4 g

Method

1. Heat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray.
2. Add everything to a bowl and mix together.
3. Knead into a smooth dough, adding a little extra flour if needed, then roll out.
4. Cut out your shapes, or roll into balls and flatten.
5. Bake for 6–10 minutes, depending on the size of your shapes.
6. Store in a zip-lock bag in the freezer and pull a few out for lunchboxes, or keep in the pantry for a few days.
